YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our expanding team. The ideal candidate will collaborate seamlessly with team members, troubleshoot and identify solutions in real-time, and drive efficiency across our operations.
YOU WILL
- Administer and manage Linux servers (both virtual and physical).
- Oversee internal services such as Gitlab, Airflow, Superset, Kafka, and Redis.
- Handle database administration tasks for Clickhouse and PostgreSQL.
- Design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines using Python, with options to use Golang, Rust, or Scala.
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain large-scale data processing systems and databases.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through high-quality coding and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to meet database requirements.
- Design and implement data tools for the analytics and data science teams to optimize our products.
- Work closely with data and analytics experts to enhance data system functionality.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve and extend platform capabilities.
- Set up and monitor backups to ensure data security.

- Tools: Gitlab, Airflow, Superset, Kafka, Redis
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Russian.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Strong Linux administration skills and proficiency in writing bash scripts.
- Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Solid knowledge of database administration and SQL.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with Golang, Rust, or Scala is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and cloud providers.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and release management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
