Risk Manager

We are proud to have a young and dynamic team of experienced wealth management and compliance professionals and are constantly looking for talented candidates to join our company.

As our team is expanding, we are looking to hire a Risk Manager.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To attend to overall Risk Management Framework of the Employer, improve and implement the risk management systems and controls of the Employer
  • To prepare of Risk Management Report(s), ICARA and other Risk Management reporting documents as may be required from time to time;
  • To overlook the Risk Management Committee matters
  • To be responsible for the Business Continuity Plan and related matters – update and implementation
  • To assist with regulatory reporting: improve procedures, controls, monitoring and verification methods, act as project manager for new regulatory reporting, attend to the enquires of the colleagues regarding reporting issues
  • To work closely with the trading departments (brokerage, PM, DoA) depending on the workload and tasks
  • To head and manage the Anti-market abuse project: improve, implement, control, assist in monitoring
  • Perform risk evaluation, which assesses the way the company previously handled risks
  • Make risk-avoiding adjustments to current methods of operation in order to minimize their future risks
  • Capital Adequacy monitoring and preparation
  • The list of duties is not exhaustive and may include from time to time other tasks

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or any other relevant field.
  • CySEC Certificate (Advanced)
  • Highly resilient, with an action-oriented style; comfort and credibility in challenging discussions with senior colleagues, balancing robustness, persistence, flexibility and calmness under pressure
  • Deep understanding of risk management legal framework
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services, risk management, audit, control testing, and/or compliance related work
  • Practical working knowledge of common reporting and visualization tools
