We are pleased to announce that the entire Skanestas team has successfully completed the “AML & Sanctions – Critical Considerations 2024: A Case Studies Approach” course. This training is mandatory for employees of financial companies.

With increasingly stringent anti-money laundering (AML) and economic sanctions requirements, regulatory scrutiny is intensifying. For regulated entities, adhering to these standards is crucial to avoid fines and prosecution. About the Trainer

Yiannis Pettemerides BA, MA, FCA(ICAEW)The course was conducted by Mr. Yiannis Pettemerides (BA, MA, FCA (ICAEW)), a consultant with over 25 years of experience in forensic investigations, sanctions compliance, and anti-money laundering. Mr. Yiannis Pettemerides holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, economics, and finance (BA, MA), and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA/ICAEW) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the International Compliance Association (ICA).
